In network marketing, which in familiar terms known as MLM - Multi Level Marketing, there are, basically, 3 categories of people exist:
1. Posers
2. Amateurs
3. Professionals
Posers
Self explanatory from the title; just sitting back and dreaming of success all the time without taking the desired action. How much time it takes for a new business to reach break even? just thinking of success without taking action is like living in fool's paradise. It takes guts to accomplish a difficult task. But don't forget the fact that greater success lies in accomplishing difficult tasks. You must adhere to your plan and execute that step by step. MLM Business is not like playing a gambling. It is emerging as the most resourceful way of business in 21st Century.
Amateurs
They basically are short cut guys in literal terms. There thinking revolves around positioning, timing and luck. Lets explore in detail and identify what makes this category from successful to unsuccessful o ordinary entrepreneur:

Don't Give Due time Span
They start this with the mindset of ‘dipping their toe in’ and seeing if it works for them or not. The majority of them slip away in less than a year time and even as minimum as three months. In order your business to be flourished it has to go through a logical time process with all the needful done. At an average it takes 4 years to be a substantially high success in MLM Business. But exceptions are there who makes up within a year time
Blame, Excuses, Denial
Blaming others for their failure and taking support of excuses is the common factor that makes them unsuccessful. The fair preposition is that it is always we who are the prime beneficiary or victim of what we do in life. When we get through we claim that WE DID IT and when results come the other way round we shift the responsibility to someone else's shoulder.
Limited Belief's Scope
This world is the place of possibilities. They are not ready to unlearn beliefs with narrow scope. We need to process our self through learning emerging ideas in order to be successful in growing world's scenario.
Money Oriented Thinking
NO doubt all we do,after all, is setting up a source of secure and sustainable income and there is nothing bad about it? But what about professional upbringing? We need to work on every aspect of life in order to live almost a nearly ideal life.
Don't consider worth spending
It is obvious that setting up a business requires lots of spending. Likewise other businesses, MLM, too, requires spending. But in MLM spending does not equate with expenses. It pays off. Secondly the spending is just like you go for eat outs or watch movies in cinema. Its too marginal to be claimed as spending. Therefore, the amateur, should review their approach to this aspect.
Don’t assimilate with Inbuilt Training System
Training in MLM has two purposes. It serves as Motivational Gas Station that continuously pump encouragement and motivation in you so that you keep ticking like a clock. Secondly it enhances your professional skill through knowledge and emerging trends.
Give Up
I still remember when I placed my dairy in front of one of the legend in training to have his autograph, he wrote:
"Quitter is a quitter; and quitter never wins"
Everything in life should be acceptable except for Quitting. If this remains the focus of your thinking and attitude you can accomplish almost impossible tasks in your life.
Professionals
"Never be afraid to try something new. Remember amateurs built the Ark, Professional Built the Titanic"
They are whom we can fairly call 'True Leader's. They lead by example; and the reason being they are always on absolute clarity and have firm believe in themselves and what they do. What comes before? Clarity or Believe? Definitely clarity. Therefore it is pivotal to success; and it is not MLM specific; to have crystal clarity about what you do in life; . The another important virtue that enable them to embrace success in MLM Business is their focus on developing the skills and techniques through professional training. Continuous and sustainable improvement in desired spheres of life lead them to life of peace and tranquility. This gives them the distinctive edge from rest of the two categories. Therefore it is a Must for you to be professional when it comes to MLM Business in order to have greater success; a surreal success.

1. IN MLM YOUR BUSINESS ASSETS ARE TRANSFERABLE
You cannot never transfer your job to your family member despite serving decades being a government or private servant. Your family is not eligible to inherit your position even if you were serving as a Permanent Secretary or a Vice Chancellor or the CEO of a public company. On the contrary your position or rank with all perks and privileges gets transfer to your spouse or the one you nominate by yourself at the commencement of your business. Wow. Is it not remarkable? just imagine of a family? left alone all of sudden at certain point of time following natural phenomenon of life. What happens to the family. Are they capable of anticipating the after shocks. Definitely no one can fill up the vacuum created by their irreversible departure but yes for the financial obligations Network Marketing Business compensate for financial affairs. Network Marketing Business can always be a Financial Successor.
2. TIME FREEDOM
Its a famous saying. "The time lost cannot be retrieved". And that the time is the equally important aspect of life besides healthy life and handsome earning. If somebody earns billions of dollars and don't have time to spend that on him just because of their business exigencies then what is the so use of earning so much. Besides handsome earning one should have ample time to spend that on themselves; enjoying long vacations on beach sides; travelling around the country or globe for that matter or performing religious obligations. The MLM business guarantees Ample Time Freedom. And you remain in total control of your time. On the contrary as an Employee you, willingly, cut off your wings for time freedom. Somebody asked me once what does JOB stands for? Jail of the Boss was his reply when i couldn't come up with the right answer. Goodness me. It was a tailor made answer. Or wasn't it?. Your 'time' and consequently, your 'life' remains in control of your boss or employer.
3. BE A BOSS OF YOUR OWN
Who wouldn't wish to be? i guess everyone provided they have the opportunity. As an employee, you are answerable to your boss or chain of bosses. Ooops... Look at this. I mean it feels so horrible to face one; and how come you handle in plurals? But your MLM business ensures a position in reality that you could only wish in dreams; work from an independent position; with all rights reserved.
4. INCOME OF YOUR CHOICE TO UNLIMITED INCOME
Your income is the key to your worth in the family and society you move around. On Network Marketing path you will never find a LIMIT board or notification for your income. Earn how much you want. Just plan and set a goal and achieve through leap frogging. That means in MLM your earnings are determined by yourself. While as an employee your salary/wage is determined by your employer. And there will always be a LIMIT to your earning.
5. RESIDUAL OR LEVERAGED INCOME
With few years of smart and hard work in Network Marketing you reach a point where pennies to your account keep coming even if you don't work actively or aggressively. But as an employee you will have to wait for year closing to get an increment which surely does not match the level of increment in prices of households and livings. The moment you stop working or get retire you may not be able to maintain the level of income by all means.

Results from all over the world shows, MLM Business, is the easiest and fastest way to setup a business and career. Yearly report in America shows that the 2nd highest number of NEW MILLIONAIRES is from the Network Marketing Industry after the Real Estate Industry.

7. BUSINESS OR JOB SECURITY
" Your services can be terminated at anytime without assigning a reason" is the integral part of all most all the job's contracts. Being human you are tend to do mistakes but those mistake may cost you your job.That means as an employee your job is not guaranteed. But in MLM Business you cannot be fired. Obviously the size and activity in your network determine the success of your income but you cannot lose your position even if there is less to no activity in your Network.
